Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries

A woman in her 50’s was rushed to hospital in critical condition after the bike she was riding collided with a car Monday.
The intersection of 11th Avenue and 11th Street SW near the downtown was closed while traffic police investigated.
Paramedics responded to the accident on Monday just before 5:30 p.m.
The victim was wearing a helmet but it’s not known how badly it was damaged.
