The massive show and conference was last held in 2008 and event director Wes Scott, says the show has evolved with the industry.  There will be more than 400 new exhibitors and there is a greater focus than ever on shale gas with a theatre added to the exhibition’s main floor.

There will be displays from more than 2,000 exhibitors and show attendees will also be treated to a rodeo and a motor cross exhibition

Among the many events planned is an international energy ministers’ forum, with Canadian officials joined by energy leaders from Kuwait, Egypt, Qatar and others to discuss issues like global supply & demand, and protecting the environment.

The global petroleum show ruins Tuesday through Thursday.
