Construction to clog southbound Deerfoot

If you drive southbound Deerfoot at night, don’t be expecting to get anywhere too quickly.
Delays are expected as bridgework on the Ogden Road flyover will close down two lanes of traffic, leaving only one for cars to get through.
The closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The speed limit is down to 50 km/hr on the bridge.
The province says even when the nighttime work is done, that area of southbound Deerfoot will be down to two lanes until the end of September.
