Words are set to fly in the mayor’s race Monday afternoon.

Avenue magazine is hosting a forum featuring many of the candidates at the Bow Valley Club starting at 3 p.m.

Aldermen Joe Connelly, Ric McIver and Bob Hawkesworth are set to attend, as are MLA Kent Hehr, Paul Hughes, Jon Lord, Wayne Stewart and Naheed Nenshi.

They’ll be talking about how they plan to make housing more affordable in Calgary.

660News will be at the debate.
