Noisy vehicles could get muzzled

The city of Calgary could soon clamp down on noisy vehicles.

On Monday, council will be considering proposed changes to the existing noise bylaw.

Druh Farrell is one of a number of aldermen who want to muffle noisy cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Farrell tells 660News she thinks Calgarians have been complaining long enough and changes need to be made.

Edmonton recently passed a motorcycle noise bylaw and has equipment that can monitor and record violators.
