Congratulations to Christine Newton of Fanshawe College, winner of this year’s 660News Diversity Scholarship.
Newton was recognized with the $2000 award at the Radio-Television News Director’s Association’s national conference in Edmonton last week.
Her two-part television documentary on ”Immigrant Life in London, Ontario” was praised by judges as ”well shot, well produced and great camera presence.”
Christine also won the RTNDA/ George Clark Scholarship for best overall entry!
There were 40 entries for the 660News Diversity Scholarship this year, and the RTNDF will be accepting submissions again in 2011.
