Rafters leave city rivers a mess

The warm weather over the weekend sent sun-seekers flocking to the Bow and Elbow Rivers.

Police tell the Calgary Herald the weekend started out pretty good with most rafters prepared with life jackets.

But it was a different story by the time the weekend wrapped up, with officers handing out about 140 tickets and dumping lots of cans of booze.
