Motorcycle death in SE

A 20-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle ran into a pick-up truck in the southeast Tuesday night.

Police say the truck was parked in front of a home on Applewood drive just after 8:30 p.m.

The motorcycle hit it, and the driver went over his handlebars and ended up pinned under the truck.

The driver of the bike was rushed to hospital, but later died.

Police say speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt, but is facing charges of driving while disqualified.
