House prices up again in Calgary

House prices in our city were up a little in the second quarter.
But, a new housing survey finds prices are expected to go down a bit as 2010 wears on.
Royal LePage says that’s because many first time home buyers used the first half of this year to beat the arrival of higher interest rates and tougher mortgage rules.
More homes are also expected to come on the market in the third and fourth quarters, driving prices down.
