Tips from EMS when severe weather hits

Calgary EMS says the best thing to do when the weather turns severe is to stay indoors.
Spokesman Adam Loria tells 660News that’s especially important when there are tornado watches or warnings.
Loria says if you’re driving and rain or hail makes it hard to see, the smartest thing to do is to safely pull over and just wait it out.
He also suggests you keep up to date on weather reports and make sure to dress appropriately.
