The 98th edition of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth has come to a close.
Cool and damp weather is being blamed for a drop in attendance.
Just over 101,000 people passed through the turnstiles Sunday at Stampede Park, pushing overall attendance above the 1.1 million mark.
That’s down about 40,000 from last year, but well off the attendance record of 1.2 million set back in 2006.
The weather wasn’t the only story this year, six horses were put down after suffering injuries and an accident involving a ride on the midway injured ten people.
