Thieves have stolen a delivery van from Calgary Meals on Wheels.
Police say sometime overnight Tuesday, the group’s garage was broken into with several sets of keys for vans stolen. Only one van was taken and it still has not been recovered.
While only one vehicle was stolen, the fear is the thieves will return and take other vans.
Kathryn Robson, a spokeswoman with Meals on Wheels, tells 660News the culprits seem to have had a mission as they didn’t appear to go through anything else or steal anything else.
The vehicles were provided from the Nissan Canada Foundation at a reduced lease rate.
