Calgary man could be deported due to gun charges

A Calgary man has been found guilty of two dozen weapons offences. Police seized seven firearms in October from the vehicle and home of Tien Ngoc Ho.

Officers say they also found a kill kit in the garage, it included body armour, loaded guns, with one firearm equipped with a laser scope and another modified with a silencer.

A judge found Ho guilty of 19 of 35 charges, other charges have been stayed. His lawyer, Steve Virk spoke to CTV and said Ho’s conviction could likely mean he will be deported.

His common-law wife was found not guilty on all charges.
