Calgary police have busted a pair of sophisticated marijuana grow operations in the city’s northwest, seizing over 1,000 plants worth about 1.3 million dollars.
In the first case, officers found almost 850 plants at a Tuscany residence on July 14, 2010.
A 43-year-old is facing numerous drug related charges.
Then on July 20th, investigators discovered over 200 plants at a home in Kincora.
No one was found at the house, and no charges have been laid.
Both homes have been deemed unfit for human habitation.
