Another bear making tracks around Calgary

A young black bear was busy playing around on some local links.

Numerous people caught sight of the bruin wandering the fairway of the Bearspaw Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

It’s the second sighting in as many days. Police along with Fish and Wildlife were busy tracking down a bear in the northwest community of Royal Oak on Friday night.

Duty Inspector Paul Stacey tells 660News it is not unusual to spot wildlife this close to the city and that there are a lot of bears in that area.

Wildlife officials and police are trying to track down the whereabouts of the animal.

Earlier this week a bear was tranquilized in Airdrie and released back into the wild.
