Calgarians are taking to the Internet to have their say about what they want on St. Patrick’s Island.
The Calgary Sun is reporting more than 12-hundred people have taken part in the second of three surveys on the 30-acre island in the Bow River between the Calgary Zoo and Fort Calgary.
The area is part of the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation’s $45-million redevelopment of the East Village.
Ideas for the area include a wading pool, skating rink and amphitheatre.
A draft plan will be presented to the public in November.
