Fire crews were called out to Royal Oak at about 3:30 Wednesday morning for reports that a boat was on fire.
Battalion Chief Don Huska tells 660News that they were able to get the blaze under control pretty fast.
He says damage, estimated to be $135-thousand, was limited to a boat, the exterior of the adjacent house and garage, as well as a bobcat parked beside the boat.
One person was evacuated from the home and people were also forced from nearby homes as a precaution.
Fire investigators are trying to determine exactly how the fire got started.
