A Calgary landlord got a huge and unwelcome surprise when she checked on her rental property this week.
The woman, who The Calgary Sun refers to only as Susan, returned to the city after leaving the property with a management company, only to find damage totalling 60-thousand dollars.
Animal feces and urine all were all over the basement floor, there’s lots of mould, broken plaster and paint, along with broken windows and doors.
Susan, says she may have to quit her job in Ontario to return to Calgary and fix the place up.
The management company Susan hired to look after the property says it has no responsibility in this case, adding this is just one of those things that happens.
