The Calgary Chamber of Commerce announced its new president Monday afternoon.
Adam Legge has replaced out-going president Heather Douglas.
“The Calgary Chamber is an important influencer in the community, and amongst all three levels of government. The Chamber is a vital player to ensure a healthy business environment and to help local companies achieve success. I am invigorated to be able to join the Chamber as President and plan to bring about new ways of doing business that will expand our reach, and create an organization that plays a vital role in the overall health of Calgary’s economic and community foundations, while supporting those aspects of the operation that are working well.” said Legge.
Legge had previously held the title of Vice-President and Chief Economist, Research, Workforce and Strategy at Calgary Economic Development.
