Bitternose hearing set to start

A dangerous offender hearing is scheduled to begin Tuesday for a man who brutally attacked two women in Banff.

Cory Bitternose pleaded guilty to a number of charges including two counts of kidnapping, sexual assault causing bodily harm and uttering death threats.

He’s also admitted to fourteen counts of break-and-enter involving a number of burglaries in Calgary.

If Bitternose is declared a dangerous offender, he could remain in jail indefinitely.
