Camrose RCMP are playing cowboy as they’re trying to herd between 30 to 40 head of buffalo.
Officers say the animals are traveling in groups and have already crossed over a few highways.
Police are trying to keep up with the animals and are getting tips from residents on where they see them.
There’s no word yet as to how the buffalo became free.
