AMA offers savings

With many Albertans struggling to make ends meet these days, it’s always nice to have a chance to save a buck or two.
The Alberta Auto Association’s “show your card and save” program has been around since 1995 and gives Albertans access to exclusive savings and special offers not only across Canada but around the world.
The AMA’s Kent Dixon tells 660News that it’s easy to sign up. Members can either go to the AMA website or pop into their local AMA center and receive information on all the partners involved and the offers that they have.
In 2009 alone, AMA members saved over 13 million dollars just by showing their AMA membership card at participating retailers.
The program gives members a discount at 110,000 retailers in North America and 164,000 more locations around the world.
