An Amber Alert has been issued by RCMP in Chilliwack, because of a child abduction they say happened just before 1 p.m. on Sunday. Twelve-year-old Daniel Sturm was apparently taken from his house by his father in Chilliwack.
Sturm is described as white, about 5’0″, 98 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a striped hoodie, black shorts, black and white runners, and an orange t-shirt.
Police need your help in finding the boys father, 56-year-old Kenneth Morey. Morey is described as a white man, with grey hair and blue eyes. He’s about 5’10”, weighing 220 pounds.
Corporal Lea-Anne Dunlop with Chilliwack RCMP says the car officers are looking for is a White 1990 Honda Accord with B.C. licence plate 045-NFM.
He left the home with his son in this vehicle. Morey was with two other men when it happened. They may have been headed to the Langley area. Police are concerned for the safety and well being of Strum and need your help.
