Calgary’s mayoral candidates were busy Sunday afternoon taking part in the first debate of the 2010 election.
Eleven of the 14 hopefuls attended the debate hosted by the Calgary Leadership Forum at the Croatian Canadian Cultural Centre in the city’s northeast.
President of the leadership forum, Brian Lee, tells 660News there was a high level of interest in all things financial and a strong anti-incumbent sentiment.
Hopefuls Barb Higgins, Bonnie Devine and Gary Johnston did not take part in the standing-room only event.
