The safety records of Alberta companies will soon hit the web for all to see.
The province’s employment minister is expected to announce the online initiative by the end of this week. It’s scheduled to hit the web by the last week of September.
The Calgary Herald reports all companies with more than 40 employees covered by the Worker’s Compensation Board will have their safety and death records posted.
The data is also expected to include a company’s lost time claim and how it stacks up against the industry average, as well as whether the company has an endorsed government safety certificate.
