Calgary-based Enbridge has started testing a pipeline that ruptured earlier this summer, leaking nearly four million litres of oil into a Michigan River.
The company is running high-pressure water through the pipeline to see if the repairs have worked.
Enbridge tells The National Post that so far things are running smoothly.
This brings the company closer to restarting the pipeline, which handles just under 200,000 barrels of oil every day at full capacity.
