Pit bull spared

A pit bull that attacked members of its owner’s family has passed a review into its behaviour and will live with other relatives.

The dog, named Alphie, bit three people when they started fighting at their home in Pineridge on August 15th.  All three were taken to hospital.

Bylaw boss Bill Bruce tells The Calgary Sun the dog had a completely clean record otherwise and just needed a more stable home environment.

Bylaw officers will continue to monitor Alphie.
