Car collides with train near Edmonton

A female driver is in hospital after her car collided with a train north of Edmonton.

The crash happened this morning near Morinville at a crossing that’s regulated by a stop sign and a crossing sign.

The driver, who was airlifted to hospital, is expected to recover from her injuries.

A female passenger was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
