Optimistic forecast out for Canadian oil

A new report says the country’s oil patch is likely to see bigger bucks this year.

The Conference Board of Canada predicts oil production to go up 4.1 per cent by the end of 2010.

The report found oil consumption is almost back up to levels seen before the recession hit.

The board says rising oil prices also helped to boost the rosy forecast.
