Okotoks golf tournament for learning disabilities

A golf tournament set for Thursday is shedding some light on learning disabilities.

The Calgary chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta, is holding it’s 4th annual tournament on Thursday, raising money to help the non-profit organization keep up the level of service it proves.

One in ten Canadians is affected by a learning disability and executive director of the organization, Marty Hornstein tells 660News the event is not only to raise money but also raise awareness of the impact learning disabilities have on families, children and school.

The tournament will be held at the D’Arcy Ranch golf course in Okotoks.
