Province with new health framework

A three year project is now a reality in our province.
Alberta Health and Wellness Minister Gene Zwozdesky says the new health framework is about changing and developing the system.
“I see this framework as an important directional document that will help guide, direct and support the continuous and measurable improvement of patient safety.”
It includes establishing a patient family safety advisory panel and a provincial adverse event reporting system, which is the first of it’s kind in Canada.
Mostly importantly Zwozdesky says, the framework will focus on the patient, who will be centre of any healthcare plan or service.
