Science and Engineering students at the University of Calgary are finding the future looks brighter than they may have thought, as more than 100 companies turned out to share current and future job opportunities with them.
Five thousand students are expected to take in the annual Science and Engineering Career Fair.
A first year engineering student tells 660News she was surprised at all the job opportunities available.
“There are so many summer opportunities for first years that I didn’t even know where out there so this is so informative.”
The director of career services at the university says the number of companies in attendance is up ten percent from last year.
