Man falls from LRT platform

A man suffered minor injuries after falling off a C-train platform late Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened at the Chinook Station.
Acting Inspector Keith Cain tells 660News, the man was trying to get on the train after it started moving.
He fell off the platform and landed on the tracks between two LRT cars; fortunately the train was moving very slowly at the time.
He was treated at the scene by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
C-train service in the area was disrupted for a short time.
