Crash sends five people to hospital

Five people, including three children, were sent to hospital after a crash in the northeast Monday evening

The collision happened in the intersection of 36th Street and 4th Avenue after a car went off the road and hit a concrete pole.

One of the injured was taken to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

Investigators are trying to determine what caused the vehicle to race through the intersection and go off the road.
