Among the many topics that will be discussed tonight during the annual general meeting of the Ranchlands Community Association is a mysterious ‘hum.’
Dozens of residents in that part of northwest Calgary have been complaining about a noise that has kept many of them awake at night.
The Association’s Dana Negrey tells 660News they are working on pin-pointing a source.
“We’ve captured it and recorded it and measured it. We’re going to be able to present to the public, a recording of the hum and let people hear what a lot of other people are hearing, and see if there’s some commonalities or any observances based on that,”
The community hopes that by documenting the noise problem, they can find out exactly what it is and deal with it.
