When Smoke Gets In Your Eyes

If you’re travelling today on Highway 3, also known as the Crowsnest Highway two hours south of Calgary, you might encounter smoke.

Officials with Alberta Sustainable Resources tell the Calgary Herald that weather permitting, they’re planning a controlled burn near Castle Mountain Resort.

Any smoke shouldn’t reach the Calgary area.  But it might be noticeable south of the city.

The 60 hectare burn will act as a fire guard, surrounding Castle Mountain resort as well as the ski hill.
