Province launches I.D. for Alberta’s homeless

The president of the Calgary Homeless Foundation is applauding the rollout of government issued identification for Alberta’s homeless.

Tim Richter tells 660News having personal identification will help thousands of people get off the street, saying it makes it easier for people to get jobs and rent an apartment.

Details of the new homeless I.D. program will be rolled out in Edmonton by Alberta’s Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Minster of Service.
