Security is ramping up at the downtown offices of the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team.
Interview rooms will now be equipped with two doors, one of which is meant to act as an escape route in case of emergency.
There will also be an emergency alarm and a monitor room, and the entrance to the J.J. Bowlen Building will be revamped.
This comes after an ASIRT investigator was stabbed in June.
ASIRT is the body in charge of investigating police incidents that involve serious injury or death.
