Bear spotted in Oakridge

It was a wild night in Calgary’s southwest.
Emergency crews, the HAWCS helicopter and Fish and Wildlife officers spent several hours chasing after a black bear in the community of Oakridge.
They managed to corner and tranquilize the bear before putting it in a cage.
It will likely be returned to the wild.
