Barb Higgins issues apology for post interview comment

Mayoral candidate Barb Higgins is apologizing for lashing out at members of the arts community.
It happened after a heated exchange on Citytv Thursday morning.
Higgins says she was blindsided during the interview which she says was an attack on her character.
According to Arts Vote volunteers that were at the station, Higgins asked them “who crapped in everyone’s corn flakes?” after the interview.
In a release, Higgins says there were a couple members of the group openly showing their contempt.
Higgins says she apologizes for the comment.
