Two men started building their working relationship Thursday.
Mayor elect Naheed Nenshi and Premier Ed Stelmach sat down for their first formal meeting and discussed a number of issues.
Nenshi says the Premier was extraordinarily gracious and he is confident this new relationship is going to be very positive for Calgarians and all Albertans.
The Premier made no promises and said he was there to listen.
Issues like the southeast LRT and the airport tunnel were brought up. As well they discussed the relationship between the city and province, operational funding, and a couple capital projects.
