You will soon be able to get a Double Double when you grab your groceries at Safeway.
Two Safeway stores in Calgary, one in Edmonton and another in Winnipeg will be opening up Tim Hortons kiosks.
A company spokesperson says the two in Calgary will be at the Castleridge and Kensington locations. I one of the cases it’s replacing a Starbucks outlet.
“What we are really looking for is alternatives for Safeway customers, a unique offering to the market place and certainly an opportunity to bring in new and unique traffic into our Safeway stores.”
The Tim Hortons outlets will open in December.
