The 8th annual “Cocktails for Critters” is taking place Saturday.
The theme is Lifestyle of the Furry and Fabulous-Howly-wood Glamour.
Spokesperson Desiree Arsenault tells 660News, “We’re working with the City of Calgary to enclose an area that’s behind our property and make it a fully enclosed dog park. We are also working towards having a fully functional and operational behaviour academy.”
The night will have a dog and celebrity fashion show where Police Chief Rick Hanson and sniffer dog, Moose will strut their stuff in matching outfits.
Also, Brett Wilson, one of the hosts of Dragon’s Den, will be on hand with his dog Maja.
Prime Minister Harper’s wife Laureen is the honourary chair, she will be attending and speaking at the event.
