The worst of the west LRT construction delays will soon be over.
In the next few weeks, workers will shift their focus away from road work to actually building C-Train stations and laying track.
A spokesperson for the west LRT project tells The Calgary Sun the closed and rerouted lanes of Bow Trail will soon open up again and some commuter headaches should ease.
But drivers are being told that the traffic snarls won’t disappear completely until the project wraps up in late 2012.
