Airdrie baby assaulted

An Airdrie man is facing charges after a baby was assaulted.

Mounties were called about an incident at a home on Sunday afternoon.  When they arrived, they found a six-month-old baby with marks on her.

The infant was brought to the urgent care centre in Airdrie and was treated for minor injuries, then released.

The baby’s father has been charged with assaulting a child.
