Just in time for Christmas, the Alberta Guide Dog Services has started the “Sponsor a Guide Dog Puppy” program.

For less than the cost of a cup of coffee you can help someone who is visually impaired or an autistic child that requires some guidance.

Susan Deike is with the service and tells 660news, sponsoring a pup costs just $250.00 for a full 2 years and participants will receive quarterly “pupdates” that include details on how their pup is doing.

Deike adds those who do decide to take part in the program will receive a tax receipt.
