Some of us haven’t even started our Christmas shopping yet, but if you want to send gifts to family and friends around the globe, you’d better get hopping.
Lillian Salchner with Canada Post tells 660News, make sure parcels are going to hold up to all the bumping and squishing of a long trip.
“If you wrap it in Christmas paper, which I suggest you don’t do, it can tear easily. Make sure it’s in a sturdy wrapping and a sturdy box with strong corners, and can withstand pressure from other boxes placed on top of it.”
She says you don’t want that box of cookies you slaved over to end up as crumbs by the time it gets to its destination.
