A chocolate war is brewing between Bernard Callebaut, the company, and Bernard Callebaut, the man.
Callebaut lost his namesake business after going into receivership this summer.
He’s now looking for $1.65 million in start-up cash, with hopes of having chocolates on the shelf in time for Christmas.
Meanwhile, The Calgary Herald reports Bernard Callebaut, the company, has launched an ad campaign to get the attention of holiday shoppers who may still associate the brand with financial woes.
