Calgary Stampeder quarterback Henry Burris has been named the CFL’s most outstanding player of the year.

Burris says he’s happy to be recognized for his work, and he’ll always hold on to the memory of winning the award.

Burris wasn’t the only Stamp to win an award Thursday night.

According to The Calgary Herald, Ben Archibald snagged the CFL’s top lineman honour, while safety Wes Lysack was given the Tom Pate Memorial Award for sportsmanship and giving back to his community.
