A man died in a garage fire in the southeast Sunday afternoon.
Crews were called out to the scene just after 3 pm on the 2000 block of Cottonwood Crescent.
The fire department says as they were putting the blaze out they found a man, believed to be in his fifties, unconscious on the floor. CPR was started before he was rushed to hospital.
He later died.
Arson detective Scott Sampson tells the Sun the victim entered the burning garage to try and get his truck out and may have been overcome by smoke.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
